Mason City Arena

Entertaining North Iowa

Since 2019

Built and opened in 2019, Mason City Arena is the largest entertainment venue in North Iowa.

Part of the River City Renaissance Project, this former JC Penney Store has been transformed into a year-round multi-purpose venue for ice sports, athletic competitions, concerts, and tradeshows.

The state of the art facility offers fixed seating for 2,058 for ice events and 4,200 for non-ice events.

Large-screen displays add excitement and close-up viewing for live events or screening for projections. There are smaller rooms available for meetings.

Tenant Teams

Mason City Arena is the home of the North Iowa Bulls NAHL team, the Mason City Toros NA3HL team, Mason City Youth Hockey, Mohawk High School Hockey Team, North Iowa Figure Skating Association.

Besides ice events, the Arena also has hosted many concerts, MMA events, graduation, high school choir concerts, and National Night Out.
